Terms of Use
These terms apply between you as a user and Traqeo when you use our service. By creating an account or using the service, you accept the terms. Please read them together with our privacy policy, which describes how we process your personal data.
This is an English translation of our Swedish terms of use. If the two versions differ, the Swedish version prevails.
1. About the service and the parties
The service is provided by TRNX Venture AB, corporate identity number 559571-6019, Barfotsgatan 1, 442 39 Kungälv, Sweden (“Traqeo”, “we”, “us”). Traqeo is a digital service that creates and adapts personal training plans for the Vasaloppet series — Vasaloppet 90 km, Tjejvasan, Vasaloppet 30, Vasaloppet 45 and Öppet Spår. The service is a training tool and does not replace a personal trainer, a physiotherapist or medical advice.
2. Account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is correct, for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that takes place through your account. The account is personal and may not be shared or transferred. Contact us immediately if you suspect that someone has gained unauthorised access to your account.
3. Permitted use
You agree not to:
- use the service in breach of the law or these terms,
- attempt to circumvent security or access controls, disrupt the operation of the service, or gain unauthorised access to systems or other people’s data,
- scrape, copy or redistribute the service’s content in breach of section 10, or
- misuse the social features (see section 9) for harassment, spam or sharing other people’s data without good reason.
We may suspend or restrict an account that is used in breach of the terms or in a way that harms the service or other users.
4. Health and safety
Train at your own risk. The training plans are general and are based on the information you provide yourself. Consult a doctor before you start an intensive training programme — especially if you are over 40, are untrained, are pregnant, or have a known cardiovascular disease or another illness.
The service makes no diagnoses and does not medically assess injuries. Even if you report an injury, illness or pain in the app, the plan cannot be guaranteed to be medically appropriate for your condition. In the event of injury, pain, illness or suspected overload, you should stop training and seek care (a doctor or physiotherapist) before you continue. Always stop a session if you feel chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or any other unexpected discomfort, and seek emergency care if needed.
5. Automatically generated content
Plans, texts, forecasts and advice in the service are largely generated automatically by our rule-based training engine, based on the information you provide and the training you complete. The content may contain errors or be incomplete and constitutes decision support, not a guarantee of results or performance. You are responsible for how you choose to follow the plan and should use your own judgement. Forecasts of, for example, race results are estimates and not a promise.
6. The trial week, the Race Pass and Flex — what you buy and what it costs
The trial week. The first 7 days, counted from your first training day, are free and require no card. During the trial week you have the full service. When it ends, your current stage continues until its last day and logging sessions is always open, but new stages, replanning and analysis require a Race Pass or Flex. The trial week is given once per account, and it is the only free period: if you choose Flex with the store’s free week (see below), it runs at the same time as the trial week, not after it.
The Race Pass unlocks the adaptive engine: stages that are rebuilt around how you actually train, replanning after illness and missed sessions, analysis and review. It costs 999 SEK including VAT and is one payment for one race — not a subscription. There is no automatic renewal, no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. The pass is valid from the purchase up to and including race day plus 30 days, so that you have time to read the review of your last stage and make any guarantee choice after the race. After that, access ends by itself. In the App Store the price may differ slightly, because the store only allows certain price tiers; the price you see on the purchase sheet is the price you pay.
The price is the same regardless of how much time is left until the start. Before you pay, we show you how many weeks remain, so that you can judge what you get for your money. If you buy late, you therefore get less training time for the same price — this is a deliberate pricing model and not a fault in the service.
The pass’s end date is set at purchase, based on the race you are aiming for at that time. If you change your target race within the same season, your access is not affected; a race in a later season requires a new pass. We may change the price for future purchases, but never for a pass you have already paid for.
Flex gives you the same service as the Race Pass, except the goal guarantee (see section 8), but is paid 99 SEK per week including VAT instead of once. Flex is a subscription that renews automatically every week until you cancel it. Flex is bought in the Traqeo app, through the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android. From paid week 11 onwards, you have paid more for Flex than a Race Pass would have cost; if you have more weeks than that left until the race, we show you this before you choose.
The store’s free week. If you choose Flex straight after your plan has been built, and you have not had Flex before, you get a free week in the store: you approve the purchase now, pay 0 SEK for 7 days, and the first week is charged on day 8. If you cancel during the free week, nothing is charged. If you buy Flex at any other time, the first week is charged immediately. The store decides whether you are entitled to the free week, and the app always shows what applies before you approve the purchase.
- Payment is taken by the store when you confirm the purchase, or when the free week ends, and then at each renewal.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off renewal — in the App Store at least 24 hours before the current week ends, in Google Play before the next week begins.
- You cancel or manage Flex in the store — on iPhone under Settings → your name → Subscriptions, on Android in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions — or via Your plan → Manage or cancel in the app. Uninstalling the app does not cancel Flex.
- If you cancel, you keep access for the rest of the week you have already paid for. After that, the same applies as when the trial week has ended. Weeks that have begun are not refunded, except when you exercise your right of withdrawal under section 7.
- We may change the price for new purchases. For a Flex subscription you already have, a new price applies only if you accept it in the App Store or Google Play — if you do not, Flex ends when the paid week is over.
Payment. Purchases are currently made only in the Traqeo app, through the App Store and Google Play respectively. We never see your card details. The store is your counterparty for the transaction itself and its own purchase and refund procedures apply to it, and a receipt is sent to your email address. This does not affect your rights against us under these terms or under the law.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for every purchase: for a Race Pass and for the upgrade to a Race Pass from the day of purchase, and for Flex from the day you started Flex (the trial week is included). The weeks that renew within Flex are the same contract and do not give a new withdrawal period; if you start Flex again after a break, that is a new contract with a new withdrawal period. The service starts immediately, but we do not ask you to waive your right of withdrawal and make no deduction for the time you have already used.
You withdraw in the app under Your plan → Withdraw from contract here. The row is there for as long as the withdrawal period runs. You enter or confirm your name, which purchase it concerns and which email address the acknowledgement should go to, and then confirm with Confirm withdrawal. We immediately send an acknowledgement of receipt by email showing what you sent and when (date and time).
The refund. You get the full amount back and the contract ends.
- Bought in Google Play: Google Commerce Limited receives the payment on our behalf, and we refund you directly via Google Play once you have confirmed the withdrawal. Access ends at the same time.
- Bought in the App Store: Apple Distribution International is the seller in the App Store and makes the refund. After your confirmation, Apple’s refund opens in the app (you can also use reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple’s own withdrawal function under Purchase History). Access ends when Apple has made the refund.
- The refund is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we received the withdrawal, to the same payment method you used.
The goal guarantee belongs to the Race Pass and ends if you withdraw from the purchase or if it is refunded by the store. If you withdraw from the upgrade, Flex does not restart by itself.
You can also withdraw by writing to us at hej@traqeo.se or by using the Swedish Consumer Agency’s withdrawal form. After the withdrawal period, you can still cancel Flex whenever you like as described in section 6.
8. The goal guarantee
For certain races we offer a goal guarantee: if you do not reach the finish, you can choose between 600 SEK back and next season free of charge. Which races and years are covered is shown in the app on the race’s page. Today the guarantee covers Vasaloppet 2027, Öppet Spår 2027, Vasaloppet 2028 and Öppet Spår 2028.
The goal guarantee is included in the Race Pass. It therefore does not apply during the trial week or with Flex (payment per week), and the Race Pass must have been active when you register your bib number. That a race carries the goal guarantee is shown in the app regardless of which level you have — it is information about the race, not a statement that the guarantee applies to you. If your plan is not paid for, this is stated explicitly on the guarantee’s page in the app.
The only thing you need to do in advance is to register your bib number and your full name in the app by 23:59 on the day before the start. The registration can be changed up to the same time. If it is missed, the guarantee does not apply, because we then cannot link you to the results list.
In addition, the following conditions apply:
- You must have a paid Race Pass when you register your bib number, and it must remain valid until race day.
- You must have started the race. If you do not start, the guarantee does not apply.
- The name you register must match the start list, and the bib number must be your own. The guarantee is personal and cannot be transferred.
- The race must be the goal you have chosen in the app, so that your training plan is built for that distance.
- One guarantee per person and season.
- The guarantee does not apply in the event of disqualification or a breach of the rules, nor if the organiser cancels or shortens the race.
- The guarantee does not apply if the purchase has been refunded by us, the App Store or Google Play.
After the race, we read the official results list — you do not need to report anything. If you did not finish, the compensation choice opens in the app, and you make your choice within 30 days of the race. If you choose the money, we pay it out to a bank account in your own name within 30 days of you providing the account details; the account number is encrypted and deleted once the payment has been made. You can switch between the options until the compensation has been paid out.
The goal guarantee is a voluntary commitment on our part and applies in addition to your statutory rights — it limits neither the right of withdrawal under section 7 nor your rights under consumer protection legislation.
9. Traqeo Group Training (group features)
You can create or join training groups, propose shared sessions and — if you choose to — share your calendar and progress with the group’s members. Only share information you are entitled to share, and respect the other members’ privacy. When you invite someone, you are responsible for being entitled to provide their email address or phone number. You can stop sharing, leave a group or turn off sharing at any time.
10. Intellectual property
The service, its content, design, training methodology and underlying knowledge base belong to Traqeo or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other legislation. You are granted a personal, non-transferable right to use the service for your own use. The data you enter yourself is yours — by using the service, you give us the right to process it to the extent necessary to deliver and improve the service, in accordance with the privacy policy.
11. Third-party services
If you connect an external service (e.g. Strava), that service’s own terms apply to your use of it. We are not responsible for the availability or content of external services, or for how they process your data in their own systems. You can disconnect a connected service in the app at any time.
12. Availability and condition of the service
We aim to provide a stable and available service but cannot guarantee that it will always be free from interruptions or errors. The service is developed continuously, and features may be changed, added or removed. During planned maintenance we try to minimise the impact.
13. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for damage resulting from your training, from your having followed a generated plan, or from errors or interruptions in the service, beyond what follows from mandatory law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — e.g. in cases of intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory consumer protection. If you are a consumer, this section does not affect your rights under mandatory consumer protection legislation.
14. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time — in the app, or by following the instructions at traqeo.com/delete-account. A purchased Race Pass is a one-off payment and does not need to be cancelled; it runs until its end date and then ends by itself. You cancel Flex in the App Store or Google Play as described in section 6. If you bought Flex in Google Play, we cancel it for you when you delete your account, so nothing more is charged. If you bought Flex in the App Store, deleting your account does not cancel it — payment is handled by Apple, so turn off renewal there first (the app links there before you delete). The account’s purchases are then kept without any link to you, in accordance with the privacy policy. If you delete your account while a pass or a paid week is valid, you give up the remaining time, and it is not refunded — except when you exercise your right of withdrawal under section 7. We may terminate or restrict your access in the event of a material breach of contract or if we discontinue the service; in that case we will try to give you reasonable notice and the opportunity to export your data.
15. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. In the event of material changes, we will inform you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you continue to use the service after a change has taken effect, you are deemed to have accepted the updated terms.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
Swedish law applies to these terms. Disputes are settled by a Swedish court of general jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), arn.se. We take part in dispute resolution in accordance with the applicable rules.
